Aquaventure Dive Center, situado en el atolón más meridional de las Maldivas, Atol de Addu, ofrece una experiencia de buceo verdaderamente inolvidable. While diving is possible year-round, the period from January to April generally offers the best weather with good visibility, though it's also the busiest. From July to September, there are fewer divers, good weather, and very good diving conditions. Diving around full or new moons is recommended for stronger currents that attract more large marine life.
Addu Atoll is famous for its Manta Rays, which can be seen year-round at Manta Point. You can also encounter various sharks, including Tiger Sharks, Silvertip Sharks, and Gray Reef Sharks, especially at Sharkpoint. Other sightings include Eagle Rays, Dogtooth Tunas, turtles, and napoleons, along with abundant reef fish.
Aquaventure Dive Center offers a full range of scuba diving courses, from beginner levels like the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Course to technical diving and professional certifications. They cater to all levels, ensuring dives are conducted in small groups with personal guides.
The center's rental equipment includes brands such as Aqualung, Cressi, Mares, OMS, and Apeks. They also mention using APEKS and MARES regulators, Buddy CommandoTD BCDs, and Shearwater Teric dive computers for their own diving.
