Underwater Works

Underwater Works, located in Fairhope, Alabama (USA), is a dive center specializing in SSI and TDI certifications. It offers a comprehensive range of courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to the Instructor Development Course, as well as Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Boat Diving, and Wreck Diver. The facility includes showers, lockers, a bar, accommodation, and equipment rental, alongside a dive shop with nitrox fills.

Situated on the Alabama Gulf Coast, Underwater Works capitalizes on its proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and one of the nation's largest artificial reef programs. This environment provides excellent opportunities for spearfishing and photography, with artificial reefs comprising coral reefs, shipwrecks, oil rigs, and military surplus.

The dive center is also a dealer for a wide array of diving and spearfishing equipment from brands such as ScubaPro, Sherwood, Genesis, Ikelite, Ocean Reef, Riffe, A.B. Biller, and JBL. Their service technicians are equipped to handle equipment repairs on-site.

Founded in 1984 by Kent and Kathy Trione, Underwater Works has grown to be a prominent destination for diving enthusiasts in the region, also offering airport transfer services.
