Club Divertek Buceo, ubicado en Getxo (Bizkaia), es un club dedicado a la promoción de las actividades subacuáticas, centrado principalmente en el buceo. La entidad opera sin ánimo de lucro y cuenta con más de 200 socios, organizando un amplio abanico de actividades.
Las actividades comprenden salidas de buceo regulares, salidas de snorkel e incluso jornadas de limpieza de puertos, mostrando un compromiso con el medio marino. El club ofrece la oportunidad de participar en más de 100 salidas anuales, además de dos viajes organizados.
En cuanto a formación, Club Divertek Buceo imparte cursos de buceo certificados por SSI, abarcando desde niveles introductorios como Enriched Air Nitrox y Snorkeling, hasta cursos avanzados como Rescue Diver, Deep Diver, Night Diver y Wreck Diver. También ofrecen el Instructor Development Course, junto con formación en Boat Diving. Sus instalaciones incluyen alquiler de equipamiento y rellenos de aire (incluyendo nitrox).

Divertek offers several membership tiers. The 'Solo Socio' fee is €39 per year, with an additional €31 for the first year's registration. For recreational diving or technical/instructor roles, the combined club fee (€39) and FEDAS license (€53) is €92 annually, plus the €31 first-year registration fee. All members require a valid medical certificate and insurance, which is included with the FEDAS license.
Divertek provides courses recognized by FEDAS and CMAS, including Buceador 1 Estrella (B1E) or OWD, Buceador 2 Estrellas (B2E) or Rescue Diver, and Buceador 3 Estrellas (B3E). They also offer specialty courses like Nitrox, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving, and Night Diving.
To enroll in the Buceador 1 Estrella course, you must be at least 16 years old (with parental authorization for those under 18), possess a medical certificate confirming fitness for diving, and have a valid FEDAS license, which is included in the course fee.
With a Buceador 1 Estrella certification, you can dive up to 25 meters with experience. The Buceador 2 Estrellas certification allows dives up to 40 meters, potentially including decompression stops, though staying within 40m is recommended. Buceador 3 Estrellas can plan and conduct dives within air's depth limits, including decompression, with a recommended maximum of 40 meters.
