DPM Diving has five locations across two countries: two in Thailand (Koh Tao and Koh Phi Phi) and three in Indonesia (Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Nusa Penida). You can choose the destination that best suits your travel plans.
The cost varies depending on the course level and location. For instance, the Open Water course is approximately €350, while professional courses like Divemaster or Instructor can range from €1,000 to €1,500. Individual or package dives are also available at more affordable prices.
Courses are divided into three main groups: beginner, advanced, and professional. All include theoretical content and practical dives. The duration ranges from one day for basic experiences like Try Scuba Diving to up to 15 days for instructor courses.
The Try Scuba Diving, also known as Basic Diver, is a one-day introductory experience. It includes a short theory class, a practice session in shallow water, and one dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters, allowing you to sample scuba diving without a full certification commitment.
For beginner courses, good general health, the ability to swim, and a responsible attitude underwater are required. The minimum age for beginner courses is 10 years old. For advanced courses, a certification prerequisite is necessary.
The marine life varies by location. In Koh Tao, expect turtles, tropical fish, and potentially whale sharks. Nusa Penida is famous for its manta rays, which can be seen year-round, as well as diverse fish species. Other sites offer colorful reefs and various reef fish.
