We offer a variety of boat tours, including wildlife watching, snorkeling trips, ocean safaris, offshore adventures, and private charters. The Snorkeling and Seafari boat trip from La Ventana is a popular choice, or you can explore the Day Tours section to find what suits your visit based on the season.

Yes, the minimum age recommended for boat tours is 10 years old. While they welcome younger explorers, it's important to note that children must stay close to a parent or guardian. On shared tours, the duration might be long for some children, so booking a Private Boat Tour is recommended to tailor the experience to your family's needs.

Day trips usually last from 7:00 AM to 1:00 or 2:00 PM. However, if there's a significant wildlife encounter, the trip can be extended to allow more time for observation. Private tours can also be more flexible.

Wildlife is abundant year-round. Key sightings include Humpback, Blue, Fin, and Gray whales (December-May), Mobula Rays (April-June, November-January), Giant Oceanic Manta Rays (June-October), dolphins, sea lions, and Orcas (all year). Sharks are typically seen from May to July. While sightings are common, they are not guaranteed as this is nature.

Recommended items include reef-safe sunscreen, a waterproof jacket (especially from January to April due to wind), a towel, a hat, and a reusable water bottle. Wetsuits are available for rent with advance notice (200 pesos). Fins and masks are complementary if needed.

Swimming with whales is prohibited in Mexico. However, you can swim with dolphins, sea lions, mantas, mobula rays, marlin, turtles, sharks, and fish, provided the animals are willing to interact. The guides will brief you on best practices for respectful interaction. Special occasions might allow swimming near whales if encountered incidentally during other activities.

The best time to see various whale species in La Ventana is generally from January to May for Humpback and sporadic Blue Whales. For seeing the most whales, including Gray, Blue, and Humpback, expeditions during February and March are highly recommended.
