Descripción del Curso
The Saita Diving 3 Star Diver course is designed for experienced divers seeking to elevate their skills to an expert level. This program allows for dives to depths determined by the specific gas mixture used, opening up possibilities for more complex underwater exploration. Participants will gain the ability to plan and lead challenging dives, including those requiring decompression stops. The curriculum emphasizes advanced dive planning, organization, execution, and stringent safety protocols for decompression dives. A key component involves training participants to serve as safety divers for educational activities, thereby enhancing their leadership and support capabilities within dive operations. This course is exclusively available to club members, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate individual needs.
Entry into this advanced certification requires divers to be at least 16 years old and hold a 2 Star Diver certification with a minimum of 50 logged dives. Completion of the Oxygen Administration (AO) specialty is also a prerequisite, which can be obtained through Saita Diving. A current medical certificate, signed by a sports medicine specialist, is mandatory for all participants. Minors under 18 years of age will need to provide parental or guardian authorization to enroll. The course fee includes the international certification, examination rights, and all necessary educational materials. Expenses such as travel and meals are not covered, along with any items not explicitly stated as included.
This certification is internationally recognized and equivalent to CMAS 3 Star Diver, PADI Master Scuba Diver/Divemaster, SSI Master Diver/Divemaster/Dive Con, and ACUC Master Diver/Divemaster. The practical sessions are conducted at sea, providing real-world experience in advanced diving scenarios. While specific dive site details are not provided, the focus on complex dives and decompression suggests operations in areas suitable for such advanced training. The course aims to equip divers with the confidence and competence for advanced underwater exploration and leadership roles within the diving community.
The climate data for the region indicates a wide range of conditions throughout the year. Sea temperatures average around 19.5°C, with monthly air temperatures fluctuating from a low of 9.6°C in January to a high of 25.8°C in August. Rainfall varies significantly, with peaks in April (142.9 mm) and October (149 mm), suggesting that planning dives during drier months like July (29.8 mm) or February (19.5 mm) might be preferable for optimal conditions. This variability underscores the importance of the advanced planning and safety skills taught in the 3 Star Diver course.
