You will learn to effectively handle stressful situations and perform necessary rescues, significantly enhancing your safety and that of your dive buddies.
The curriculum includes six sessions, blending classroom theory with practical pool exercises. Key learning areas encompass understanding the causes and prevention of stress in diving, as well as developing the ability to detect and manage stress in yourself and others. The course also delves into accident management protocols and the specific techniques required to address panic and execute rescues, covering conditions that can complicate these efforts.
This specialty is offered by Amphibio, a dive center certified by IDEA and SSI, ensuring a high standard of training. While specific details on dive site locations for practical sessions, instructor-to-student ratios, or boat facilities are not provided in the input data, the course structure emphasizes a hands-on approach to emergency preparedness. The training aims to build confidence and competence, making you a more responsible and capable diver within any group.
