Descripción del Curso

The SSI Open Water Diver certification is your passport to exploring the underwater world, and Amphibio offers this foundational course with a strong emphasis on student comfort and mastery. This program is meticulously structured into three key phases: comprehensive theory sessions, practical pool training, and essential open water dives. Amphibio dedicates ample time to each segment, ensuring you gain confidence and proficiency with diving techniques and equipment, preparing you for safe and enjoyable dives.

The theoretical component typically spans 6 to 10 classes, covering vital topics such as understanding the aquatic environment, the effects of pressure on the human body, proper SCUBA equipment usage, dive planning with a buddy, and the exciting possibilities that await beyond this initial certification. This knowledge is the bedrock of safe diving practices, equipping you with the understanding needed to navigate the underwater realm responsibly.

Practical skills are honed in a pool environment, mirroring the number of theoretical classes. Here, you'll gradually acclimate to being underwater and learn to operate your diving gear. The focus is on developing the techniques and skills necessary to become a safe, independent diver, ensuring you can fully appreciate every subsequent dive. This hands-on approach builds the confidence required for real-world diving scenarios.

Upon successfully completing the theory and pool sessions, you will undertake a minimum of four open water dives. These dives are the culmination of your training, allowing you to apply all the concepts and skills acquired. Successfully completing these dives earns you the globally recognized SSI Open Water Diver certification, valid for life and permitting dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters when accompanied by a dive buddy. Amphibio ensures you are well-prepared to begin your lifelong diving adventure.
