Discover Scuba Diving

Muluk Diving offers the Discover Scuba Diving program, an ideal introduction to the underwater world for individuals with no prior experience. This program is conducted in the clear waters of the Riviera Maya or a serene open cenote, providing a safe and controlled environment. Participants will engage in a brief theory session followed by practical skills development in shallow, confined water. The program culminates in a supervised fun dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), allowing newcomers to experience the sensation of weightlessness and observe marine life firsthand.

This introductory experience is perfect for those curious about scuba diving but not yet ready to commit to a full certification course. Under the constant guidance of a certified instructor, you will learn fundamental scuba skills, ensuring a secure and enjoyable introduction to the marine environment. The entire experience typically lasts between 3 to 4 hours, making it a perfect activity to fit into a vacation day.

Key prerequisites for participation include being at least 10 years old, in reasonably good health, and able to swim. No prior certification is needed to join this program. The course package includes a certified instructor, a theory class, essential skills practice, the supervised fun dive, full diving equipment, dive and boat fees, and refreshments such as water, fruit, and snacks.
