Descripción del Curso
The PADI or SDI Scuba Diver certification offered by Mundo Activo Sub serves as a crucial intermediate step for aspiring divers, bridging the gap between a single-dive experience and full Open Water Diver qualifications. This program is meticulously designed for individuals who seek more than a brief introduction to diving but may not have the extensive time required for the complete Open Water Diver course. Upon successful completion, participants are certified to dive under the direct supervision of a dive professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters, making it an excellent option for vacation divers or those planning occasional underwater explorations. The curriculum is structured to efficiently impart essential knowledge and skills, ensuring a solid foundation for safe and responsible enjoyment of the underwater world.
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to scuba diving principles and practices. Theoretical sessions delve into critical aspects such as dive planning, the proper use and maintenance of scuba equipment, and paramount underwater safety procedures. Practical application begins in confined water, where students hone fundamental scuba skills in a controlled environment, building confidence and competence. The program culminates in two supervised open water dives, allowing participants to apply their newly acquired abilities in a real dive setting under the expert guidance of their instructor. This hands-on experience is vital for solidifying learning and preparing divers for future supervised adventures.
Mundo Activo Sub is committed to providing a supportive and effective learning environment. The center's dedication ensures that students not only gain the necessary technical skills but also develop the confidence required for supervised diving. This certification is recognized globally by many dive centers, opening doors to supervised diving opportunities worldwide. It acts as a stepping stone, enhancing a diver's capabilities and preparing them for potential further training, such as the Open Water Diver course. The efficient structure of the Scuba Diver program at Mundo Activo Sub allows for valuable training within a shorter timeframe compared to more extensive certifications.
The waters around the dive center offer a pleasant diving environment, with average sea temperatures around 20.2°C, though monthly variations exist. For instance, while July and August can see air temperatures reaching 26.5°C and 27.4°C respectively, with minimal rainfall (1.2mm and 8.3mm), October presents a different climate with higher rainfall (58.3mm) and air temperatures around 21.1°C. These conditions, while variable, are generally conducive to diving activities throughout much of the year, with specific months offering warmer water and calmer seas for optimal practice and exploration within the 12-meter depth limit.
