The SSI Assistant Instructor course at Buceo Galicia is designed to bridge the gap between certified diver and full instructor. This program focuses on developing your instructional abilities by having you assist certified SSI Instructors during dive training. You will gain practical experience in supervising students during training dives, aiding in academic presentations, and refining your teaching techniques. Galicia's waters offer a dynamic environment for dive training. While the average sea temperature is around 15.6°C, monthly air temperatures fluctuate, reaching a pleasant 20.5°C in August and dropping to 10.5°C in December. This variability means divers should be prepared for different conditions throughout the year, with summer months offering warmer air temperatures ideal for surface intervals and training. The underwater visibility can vary, but the region is known for its robust marine life, offering engaging learning opportunities.
