Buceo Sidemount

The Sidemount Diving Specialty course at Dive Bongo prepares you for a more hydrodynamic and longer-duration diving configuration. You will learn to set up and manage sidemount equipment, optimizing your buoyancy and reducing body tension for a more comfortable and efficient diving experience. This program focuses on specific techniques for handling two cylinders mounted on the sides, allowing for easier air access and greater freedom of movement underwater. PADI certification will qualify you as a skilled sidemount diver.

The practical dives will take place at dive sites around Anilao, known for their rich biodiversity and coral formations. The water temperature in Anilao remains warm year-round, generally between 24°C and 30°C, allowing you to enjoy dives with a light wetsuit. Visibility is usually excellent, often exceeding 20 meters, ideal for appreciating the abundant marine life including nudibranchs, reef fish, and occasionally turtles and sharks. Dive Bongo, based in Anilao, offers this specialty under PADI certification, ensuring international standards of quality and safety.
