Descripción del Curso
The Open Water Diver certification, offered by Cabo la Nao, is your global passport to exploring the underwater world, enabling dives up to 18 meters. This foundational course integrates flexible online theory with hands-on pool sessions, ensuring you master essential skills in a controlled environment before venturing into open water. The program culminates in four exciting dives in the Mediterranean waters off Jávea, where you'll apply your newfound knowledge and witness the local marine ecosystem firsthand. Cabo la Nao is an authorized training center for ACUC, PADI, and SSI, providing a choice of globally recognized certification agencies.
Jávea's marine environment offers excellent conditions for learning to dive. Sea temperatures in the summer months, like July and August, reach a comfortable 26-27°C, making dives pleasant even without a thick wetsuit. The clear waters typically provide good visibility, allowing students to appreciate the underwater topography and marine life. The Mediterranean here is known for its diverse fish species and interesting rock formations, providing a stimulating backdrop for your initial dives.
Cabo la Nao facilitates this learning experience with instructors fluent in multiple languages, including German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Russian, ensuring clear communication and a comfortable learning atmosphere for a diverse range of students. While specific instructor-to-student ratios are not detailed, the structure of the course emphasizes personalized attention during skill development in both pool and open water sessions.
Upon successful completion of the Open Water Diver course, you will be certified to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters, opening up a vast array of dive sites worldwide. This certification is the essential first step for anyone aspiring to continue their dive education, with the Advanced Open Water Diver course being the logical next progression to further enhance your skills and explore deeper environments.
