Advanced Open Water

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, known as Advance V.I.P. at Scubasur, is designed to significantly expand your underwater capabilities beyond the initial Open Water certification. This program involves five distinct adventure dives, each focusing on a different facet of advanced diving techniques. Two dives are mandatory: Deep Diving, which trains you to safely plan and execute dives to depths of 18-30 meters, and Underwater Navigation, crucial for refining your compass skills and spatial awareness. Scubasur offers this advanced training in the rich diving environments of La Herradura and Almuñécar, allowing you to explore deeper and more varied sites.

Beyond the core dives, you will select three additional adventure dives from a range of specialties. Options often include wreck diving, night diving, drift diving, peak performance buoyancy, or underwater photography, enabling you to tailor the course to your specific interests and curiosities. This hands-on approach, conducted under the direct supervision of a PADI instructor, ensures you gain practical experience with the specific techniques, equipment considerations, and safety protocols for each specialty. Upon successful completion of the five adventure dives, you will be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
