Junior Advanced Open Water Diver

The PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course at Dive With Us BCS in La Paz is designed for young divers aged 12-14 to expand their underwater horizons. Building on the Junior Open Water Diver certification, this program introduces them to new diving techniques and environments under expert guidance. Your PADI MSDT instructors, Carolina and Gael, will lead you through five specialized adventure dives. These dives are tailored to enhance your skills, with a typical focus on a Deep Adventure Dive, extending your depth limit to 18 meters (60 feet), and an Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive to improve your orientation. Additional dives may explore drift diving, boat diving, or peak performance buoyancy, depending on student interest and the unique conditions of the Sea of Cortez.

This course emphasizes practical application within the diverse dive sites surrounding La Paz. You will learn to utilize your equipment more effectively, refine your buoyancy control, and build confidence in various diving scenarios. The instructors ensure all activities are conducted with the utmost attention to safety and age-appropriateness, making the learning process both engaging and secure. Upon successful completion, Junior Advanced Open Water Divers are certified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) when accompanied by a PADI Professional or a certified adult diver.
