Descripción del Curso

The Emergency First Response (EFR) specialty course at Sea Lions Dive Center is designed to equip you with essential life-saving skills. This program focuses on providing immediate care in emergency situations, covering primary and secondary care, as well as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). You will gain the confidence and techniques needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies.

This course is a critical step for anyone looking to enhance their safety and preparedness, not exclusively for divers. It is highly recommended for parents, caregivers, and anyone who wants to be ready to assist in critical moments. Sea Lions Dive Center provides digital study materials and hands-on practical exercises to ensure you master these vital skills. Upon successful completion, you will receive certification in primary and secondary care, and potentially emergency oxygen provider, which is a prerequisite for advanced diving courses like Rescue Diver.

While specific dive site details for EFR practice are not provided, the curriculum emphasizes realistic scenarios to build proficiency. The training focuses on the practical application of first aid techniques, ensuring participants are prepared for real-world emergencies. This certification is recognized globally and demonstrates a commitment to safety and emergency response readiness.

Sea Lions Dive Center offers this course in both English and Spanish, catering to a diverse range of participants. The price for this essential training is 2500 Mexican Pesos (MXN). This investment in your knowledge can make a significant difference in an emergency situation, empowering you to act decisively and effectively when it matters most.
