Junior Open Water

The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is specifically tailored for younger individuals, aged 10 to 15, who are eager to begin their scuba diving journey. This certification provides a foundation in diving skills and knowledge, allowing them to explore the underwater world under direct supervision. It's designed to introduce children to diving in a safe and engaging manner, fostering a love for the marine environment from an early age.

Upon completion of the Junior Open Water Diver course, individuals aged 10 and 11 can dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet). They must always dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent, or a certified guardian. For those aged 12 to 15, the maximum depth is 18 meters (60 feet), and they must dive with a certified adult or a certified dive professional. This course serves as an excellent stepping stone towards the full Open Water Diver certification upon turning 15.

Similar to the standard Open Water course, the Junior program includes theoretical knowledge development, confined water skill practice, and open water dives.
