Nitrox Diver certification is offered at a discounted rate for divers traveling with the group, delivered by David in his role as NAUI Course Director on the trip. The instruction runs alongside the regular trip schedule rather than replacing dive days with classroom time.

On the Fiji itinerary, the application is immediate: four days of two-tank boat diving across Beqa Lagoon plus the shark dive day. Nitrox changes the practical arithmetic of that schedule — extended bottom time and reduced surface intervals on dives being run back-to-back across multiple days.

The discount applies specifically to trip participants. Taking the Nitrox course separately at home costs time and typically involves minimal open water application.
