Buceador B1*

Added to the Cristalsub programme in May 2022, the FEDAS junior pathway covers three levels — Bronce, Plata and Oro — and is open from age 8. It's a proper certification track, not a taster session: students progress through each level building skills progressively before advancing.

By summer 2022 Cristalsub was also delivering the Instructor de Buceador Infantil qualification, meaning the people teaching this course have been specifically trained to work with children in the water — not just instructors with recreational adult experience who happen to be teaching younger students.

Pool sessions in Madrid serve as the base for skill-building, with the same attention to buoyancy and technique that runs through all Cristalsub courses. The junior programme is taught by instructors who hold the specific FEDAS certification for child instruction, which is a different qualification from standard adult instruction.
