Nitrox

The PADI Nitrox specialty at DSDIVERS MADRID certifies you to dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. For divers who travel on liveaboards or do multiple dives per day — which fits the profile of DSDIVERS clients heading to the Red Sea, Maldivas or Filipinas — nitrox extends bottom time and reduces surface interval requirements at recreational depths.

The course is primarily theoretical. You learn to analyse tanks, set your computer, and plan dives correctly for the mix in use. It is one of the most useful specialties to have before joining an organised trip, and the centre's travel programme gives you plenty of immediate opportunities to use it.
