Descripción del Curso

The PADI Open Water Diver course at Eco&Dive is your entry point to exploring the underwater world, certifying you to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters. This globally recognized certification is achieved through a structured program encompassing knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives. Eco&Dive conducts these practical sessions in the appealing dive sites of the Costa del Sol and La Herradura, areas celebrated for their vibrant marine biodiversity. The curriculum is designed to build your confidence and competence, ensuring you are well-prepared for future dives.

During the knowledge development phase, you will grasp essential diving theory, physics, and physiology, supported by instructor-led sessions and self-study materials. The confined water dives, often held in a pool or calm, shallow sea areas, are where you'll master fundamental skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery, and buoyancy control under direct supervision. These foundational exercises are critical for developing safe diving habits. Eco&Dive prioritizes small group sizes, allowing for personalized instruction and ample opportunity to practice each skill until mastered.

Your journey culminates in at least four open water dives, where you'll apply your newly acquired skills in real dive site conditions. These dives offer the chance to explore the underwater environment and encounter marine life while solidifying your abilities. Eco&Dive's commitment extends beyond teaching you to dive; they aim to foster a deep appreciation for marine conservation. Their PADI instructors are dedicated to ensuring your learning experience is both safe and enjoyable, setting you on the path to becoming a responsible diver who respects the marine ecosystem. This certification is your passport to discovering reefs, wrecks, and marine life across the globe.

Eco&Dive offers this comprehensive program in Spanish and English, catering to a diverse range of international students. While specific monthly climate data for the Costa del Sol and La Herradura is not detailed here, these regions are known for pleasant diving conditions throughout much of the year. The course duration typically spans several days, providing sufficient time for thorough learning and practice. Upon successful completion, you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver, ready to embark on countless underwater adventures worldwide.
