Descripción del Curso

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is your passport to exploring the underwater world, and Aquasub Buceo offers this foundational course. This globally recognized certification qualifies you to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). The program is structured into three key phases: knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. Aquasub Buceo, a PADI-affiliated center, guides you through mastering essential scuba skills.

During the knowledge development phase, you will learn about dive planning, equipment usage, the physics of diving, and environmental awareness. This can be conveniently completed through PADI's e-learning platform, offering flexibility to study at your own pace. The confined water dives, typically conducted in a pool or calm, shallow water, allow you to practice fundamental skills like mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures under direct instructor supervision. This hands-on approach builds confidence before progressing to open water.

Aquasub Buceo facilitates the open water dives at local dive sites, where you will apply your newly acquired skills in a real diving environment. These dives are designed to introduce you to the thrill of exploring underwater landscapes, potentially encountering local marine life. The course culminates in you becoming a certified diver, ready for future adventures. The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the most popular and widely recognized scuba certification worldwide, opening doors to countless dive sites across the globe.

This certification is the first step in your diving journey, enabling you to discover diverse marine ecosystems and underwater topography. Upon completion, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to plan and execute dives with a buddy. The next logical step in your PADI progression would be the Advanced Open Water Diver course, which allows you to explore deeper and experience different types of diving activities.
