PADI Proyecto AWARE

The PADI Project AWARE course at Lagoon Diving immerses you in marine environmental awareness. This specialty focuses on the challenges facing our oceans and how each diver can be part of the solution. Through theoretical and practical sessions, you will understand the causes and effects of pollution, overfishing, and climate change on aquatic ecosystems. You will learn techniques and behaviors to minimize your impact and promote conservation on every dive. This program is designed for divers who want to go beyond exploration and become active guardians of the marine environment. Practical dives are conducted at local sites selected for their ecological relevance and the opportunity to closely observe the topics discussed in class.
