Rescue Diver PADI

The PADI Rescue Diver course at Mantra Dive Camp is designed to build your confidence and competence in managing diving emergencies. This technically focused program moves beyond self-preservation to equip you with the skills to prevent and address potential problems before they escalate. You will learn to anticipate issues, recognize signs of stress and fatigue in fellow divers, and respond effectively to ensure the safety of yourself and your dive buddies. Completing this course significantly enhances your capabilities as a diver, transforming you into a more aware and responsible member of the diving community.

Through a series of demanding training sessions conducted in both confined and open water environments, you will master various rescue techniques. These include self-rescue skills, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, assisting panicked divers, and responding to unresponsive divers. The curriculum also emphasizes emergency management procedures and dive accident scenarios, honing your ability to handle critical situations calmly and efficiently. The course is certified by PADI, a globally recognized leader in diver training.

To enroll in the Rescue Diver course, you must hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, you are required to have completed an approved first aid and CPR course, such as Emergency First Response (E.F.R.), within the last 24 months. These prerequisites ensure you possess the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to undertake the advanced training provided. The course includes the PADI Rescue Diver digital manual and access to PADI E-learning for theoretical preparation.

The training at Mantra Dive Camp involves five confined water training sessions and two open water simulation sessions. Upon successful completion, you will receive your international PADI Rescue Diver e-card. A special rate is available for accommodation at Mantra Dive Camp, and complimentary photos and videos from the course dives are provided, offering a lasting memento of your achievements. The course duration is approximately 5 days, though private training can also be coordinated to fit your schedule.
