Aqua TCI offers the PADI Resort Experience (Discover Scuba Diving) / SSI Basic Diver program, an ideal introduction for those curious about scuba diving without the commitment of a full certification. This program includes a comprehensive briefing on diving principles, equipment usage, and essential skills, all guided by experienced and friendly instructors. Participants will practice these skills in a controlled, shallow water environment directly from the boat, ensuring comfort and confidence before progressing to an open water dive. The experience is designed to be a safe and engaging first encounter with the underwater world of the Turks and Caicos.

The program emphasizes personalized attention, with skill practice conducted on a one-to-one basis. This ensures beginners can build familiarity with breathing underwater and handling equipment in a supportive setting. The subsequent shallow dives are conducted in calm areas, allowing participants to safely observe the local marine life under the direct supervision of their instructor. This introductory dive is limited to a maximum depth suitable for beginners, providing a glimpse into the vibrant aquatic environment.

Safety is paramount at Aqua TCI, with a strict instructor-to-diver ratio maintained for this course. While their boat can accommodate more, they limit the ratio to a maximum of four divers per instructor. This ratio is further reduced to two divers per instructor for participants aged 10 to 11, guaranteeing enhanced safety and personalized guidance for younger or less experienced individuals. All necessary scuba equipment is provided and included in the course fee, making it convenient for participants who do not own their gear.

Participants must meet specific age and medical requirements to join this experience. The minimum age is 10 years old, with parental or guardian consent required for anyone under 18. A medical questionnaire must be completed prior to the course; any 'yes' answers will necessitate a doctor's approval. A diver waiver must also be signed before the program can commence, ensuring all participants are aware of the risks and procedures involved.
