Descripción del Curso

The PADI Project AWARE Specialty course, offered by Dive Andaman, is a vital educational program focused on marine conservation and environmental awareness. This course delves into the critical challenges facing our oceans and waterways, empowering divers to become active advocates for aquatic ecosystem protection. It provides a comprehensive understanding of issues such as marine pollution and coral reef degradation, highlighting the impact of human activities.

Participants will explore responsible diving practices and learn actionable steps to contribute to conservation efforts. This includes understanding how to minimize their environmental footprint during dives and potentially participating in clean-up initiatives. The course emphasizes the significant role divers play in safeguarding the underwater world, fostering a deeper appreciation for marine environments and inspiring proactive engagement.

While this specialty does not involve open water dives, it is a cornerstone of responsible diver education, open to all PADI divers and individuals without prior diving certification who possess a keen interest in marine conservation. It serves as an excellent pathway to grasp the effects of human actions on marine life and to discover effective methods for making a positive environmental difference.

Dive Andaman, a PADI-certified dive center, provides this course, reinforcing their commitment to environmental stewardship. The program is designed to be accessible, requiring no specific prerequisites beyond a genuine desire to learn about and protect our oceans. It is an opportunity to gain knowledge that can be applied both during and outside of diving activities, promoting a lifelong commitment to marine conservation.
