Descripción del Curso

Embark on your scuba diving journey with the PADI Open Water Diver certification at Atlantis Lanzarote. This foundational course is meticulously designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to explore the underwater world independently, reaching depths of up to 18 meters. The program typically spans 3 to 4 days, allowing for a comfortable learning pace. You can opt to complete the theoretical portion online through PADI eLearning before your arrival, streamlining your on-site experience. The curriculum integrates classroom learning with practical sessions in a controlled confined water environment, culminating in four exhilarating open water dives directly in the ocean.

Atlantis Lanzarote enhances your training by conducting these crucial open water dives from their dedicated boat, the Maresia I, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from theory to practice. The center upholds its commitment to personalized instruction through a strict small group policy, maintaining a maximum of three students per instructor. This intimate setting, led by highly experienced professionals including Nuria Olivé, Spain's foremost Instructor Trainer, guarantees ample individual attention and constructive feedback. The open water dives are strategically located in Lanzarote's premier dive sites, such as Playa Chica and Playa Blanca, renowned for their volcanic formations, clear waters, and abundant marine life, providing an ideal backdrop for mastering your new skills.

The waters surrounding Lanzarote offer pleasant diving conditions throughout much of the year. For instance, sea temperatures hover around a comfortable 20.5°C on average, with monthly averages ranging from 18.3°C in December to 23.5°C in August, making it suitable for diving with appropriate thermal protection. Air temperatures are equally inviting, with monthly averages consistently above 18°C. These conditions, combined with the volcanic seabeds and diverse underwater topography, create a visually engaging environment for new divers to practice buoyancy control, underwater navigation, and essential safety procedures.

Upon successful completion of the PADI Open Water Diver course, you will be awarded a globally recognized certification, opening doors to dive sites around the world. The comprehensive course fee of 439 EUR includes all necessary rental equipment from Cressi, access to PADI eLearning materials, certification processing, and even complimentary HD videos of your dives, ensuring complete transparency and value. Atlantis Lanzarote, a PADI-certified center, also offers pathways for further specialization, catering to individuals aged 10 and above, with junior certifications available. This course is your gateway to becoming a confident and competent diver, ready to discover the wonders beneath the waves.
