Follow-up dive

Build upon your initial underwater experience with the Follow-up Dive to the Sea Horses at Safari Diving in Lanzarote. This introductory-level excursion is designed for those who have completed a Try Dive and wish to gain more confidence and skills in a controlled environment. Conducted with a professional dive instructor, the dive takes place in the sheltered bay of Playa Chica, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters, ensuring a safe and comfortable setting for skill refinement. The program focuses on reviewing fundamental diving techniques, allowing you to practice essential maneuvers learned previously.

Following the skill review, the dive progresses to exploring the local reef with the exciting objective of spotting the resident seahorses. This specific goal adds an element of discovery to the experience, and the abundant marine life in the bay often provides encounters with other fascinating creatures. The dive duration is approximately 1.5 hours, offering ample time to absorb the underwater scenery and solidify your diving abilities. This makes it an ideal stepping stone before committing to a full certification course.

Safari Diving, conveniently located directly on the beach, offers easy access to this dive site. The Follow-up Dive to the Sea Horses is available Monday to Saturday at 15:00, with participants needing to be at least 10 years old and have completed a prior Try Dive. The average sea temperature in Lanzarote hovers around 20.5°C, making for pleasant diving conditions throughout much of the year, though specific monthly averages vary from 19.1°C in December to 24.3°C in August.
