Descripción del Curso
The PADI Scuba Diver course at Safari Diving in Lanzarote offers a streamlined path to basic certification, ideal for those with limited time. This program covers the initial half of the PADI Open Water Diver curriculum, focusing on essential knowledge and fundamental skills. You will complete online theory, master crucial diving techniques in confined water, and perform two supervised open water dives. This certification allows you to explore underwater environments to a maximum depth of 12 meters, always under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. It serves as an excellent introduction for anyone curious about diving without the commitment of the full Open Water course.
Practical sessions are conducted in the sheltered bay adjacent to the dive center, providing a safe and comfortable learning environment. Here, you will practice vital skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery, and buoyancy control. The two sea dives offer a firsthand experience of Lanzarote's underwater world, allowing you to encounter local marine life under the guidance of your instructor. The skills acquired are fully credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver program, meaning no part of your training will be repeated if you decide to upgrade later.
Safari Diving's prime location directly on Playa Chica beach in Puerto del Carmen enhances the learning experience. The easy water access and the rich marine life visible even in shallow depths contribute to a rewarding introduction to diving. The center's professional and multilingual team, fluent in languages including German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian, ensures clear communication and dedicated support throughout your course. They prioritize both safety and enjoyment, aiming to make your first diving certification a memorable achievement.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a globally recognized PADI certification card, enabling you to participate in supervised dives. This course provides a solid foundation for future underwater adventures and opens the door to exploring more complex dive sites or pursuing further PADI certifications. The program is efficiently structured to be completed in approximately 1.5 to 2 days, fitting comfortably into most holiday schedules. The water temperature in October, for instance, averages 22.5°C, making it pleasant for these initial dives.
