Scuba Diver

The Scuba Diver program is the entry point for anyone who wants to try certified diving without committing to the full Open Water course upfront. It covers the first three modules of the SSI Open Water Diver curriculum, so nothing learned here is wasted — if you decide to continue later, those modules carry straight over.

Once certified, the Scuba Diver qualification lets you dive anywhere in the world to a maximum of 12 meters, provided you're with a dive professional. For a first certification, that covers a solid range of sites along the Tarragona coast, where the center operates out of Port Esportiu.

The course is run in small groups, which is how the center approaches all its programs. That matters at the beginner level: more time with the instructor, less waiting around, and a pace that adjusts to how quickly each person gets comfortable with the gear.

The center works under SSI, and the Scuba Diver card is recognized internationally. When you're ready to continue, the remaining modules of the Open Water Diver are available here as a direct continuation.
