Refresher

The Scuba Refresher course at Island Diving Center in Roatán is designed to reactivate your diving skills and confidence. This program, certified by PADI, typically includes a review of essential dive theory and a confined water session to practice fundamental skills. You will then complete one or two open water dives, depending on your needs and the instructor's assessment, to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). These dives are conducted at local dive sites accessible from our center, allowing you to reacquaint yourself with buoyancy control, emergency procedures, and equipment management in a safe and controlled environment.

Roatán offers excellent conditions for refreshing your diving abilities. The water temperature generally remains warm year-round, typically between 26-29°C (79-84°F), making a standard wetsuit sufficient for comfort. Visibility is often excellent, frequently exceeding 20-30 meters (65-100 feet), which enhances the learning experience and allows for better observation of the vibrant marine life. The dive sites near Island Diving Center feature diverse underwater topography, including coral formations and sandy bottoms, providing a realistic and engaging setting to rebuild your diving proficiency. Our multilingual staff, fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese, ensures clear communication and a comfortable learning experience for all our guests.
