Embark on your underwater adventure with the PADI Open Water Diver certification at Vibe Dive Tenerife. This globally recognized entry-level course is meticulously designed for individuals with no prior scuba diving experience, transforming them into confident and skilled divers. You will master the fundamental principles of scuba diving, including essential gear assembly, precise buoyancy control for effortless movement, and respectful interaction with marine life. The curriculum also covers effective management of common underwater scenarios, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. Upon successful completion, you'll be qualified to explore captivating underwater environments to depths of up to 18 meters, always accompanied by a buddy holding at least an Open Water certification.

The course structure at Vibe Dive Tenerife expertly blends comprehensive theoretical knowledge development with hands-on practical application. You'll begin with PADI eLearning, allowing you to study at your own pace for up to a year, covering vital topics like underwater world principles, physics, and physiology related to diving. Your instructor remains accessible throughout your online studies to address any questions. Following the theory, you will complete five crucial open water practice dives under the direct supervision of your instructor. These dives are focused on building comfort and safety underwater, mastering basic skills, and learning to prevent and manage potential issues. One of these dives will be conducted from a boat, offering valuable experience in a different diving context and reinforcing your learned skills. The instructor-led portion typically spans 3-4 mornings, from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tenerife offers an exceptional training ground for new divers. The sea temperature in this region remains inviting, averaging around 21°C, making it comfortable for extended practice sessions. To begin your PADI Open Water Diver journey, you must be at least 12 years old, with parental authorization required for minors. A good state of health is necessary; individuals with breathing, heart, or ear conditions will require a medical certificate. Pregnant individuals cannot participate. It's also important to avoid flights or high-altitude activities for 12 hours after your final dive. The course fee of 385 EUR includes all instructional materials, the five essential practice dives, the use of all necessary diving equipment, transportation to and from the activity site within a specified area, and comprehensive diving insurance, ensuring you have everything needed for a safe and enjoyable learning experience.
