Valentina Liveaboard, amb seu a La Paz, Mèxic, ofereix experiències de busseig exceptionals a la Mar de Cortés i a l'illa de Socorro. Certificada per PADI i SSI, la dive center proposa una gamma de cursos que inclouen Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Instructor Development Course i Boat Diving, adaptats a bussejadors de tots els nivells.

Nitrox Course

The Nitrox Course offered by Valentina Liveaboard provides divers with the essential knowledge and skills to safely plan and execute dives using enriched air nitrox. This specialty certification is highly beneficial for extending bottom times and reducing nitrogen absorption, allowing for more comfortable and extended dives in the unique environments of the Sea of Cortez and Socorro Islands. The course includes all necessary equipment, course materials, instruction from a qualified guide, and check-out dives, all facilitated aboard the MV Valentina. Upon completion, divers will be certified through an internationally recognized agency such as PADI, enabling them to utilize Nitrox fills on future dives and enhance their overall diving experience. The course is designed to be practical and informative, ensuring participants gain confidence in handling enriched air mixtures. It is an ideal addition for divers looking to maximize their time exploring the rich marine life of these Mexican destinations. Participants will learn about the advantages of diving with Nitrox, including the physiological benefits and the calculations required for safe diving. Understanding the limits and proper procedures for using enriched air is crucial, and this course covers these aspects thoroughly. The goal is to equip divers with the expertise needed to safely enjoy the benefits of Nitrox diving, particularly valuable for longer dive trips where maximizing bottom time is a priority. Check-in is available between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with boarding recommended between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. All guests must be on board by 8:45 p.m. as the MV Valentina departs that evening. Luggage drop-off is available from 9:00 a.m. Dinner on arrival day is not included. Check-out is around 4:00 p.m. on the final day.

Check-in is available after 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Marina Puerto Los Cabos. The boat departs around 6:00 p.m. Dinner on the arrival date is included. Check-out is around 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on the last day. Flights from SJD Airport should depart after noon.

Yes, Nitrox is available at an additional charge for certified divers. Prices vary per day or week for Sea of Cortez and Socorro Island trips. Larger tanks (100 ft3) with Nitrox are also available at a higher cost.

Tanks, weights, and weight belts are provided. Divers are responsible for bringing their certification card, dive insurance card, log book, mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control device, regulator with alternate air source, submersible pressure and depth gauges, dive computer (required), dive light, tank marker lights, wetsuit (3-5mm for Sea of Cortez, 5-7mm for Socorro), safety sausage, and reef hook if needed.

For Sea of Cortez trips, Open Water Diver certification is required. For Socorro Islands/Revillagigedo trips, Advanced Open Water certification and at least 50 logged dives are required due to the remote location and challenging conditions. Nitrox certification is highly recommended for Socorro.

For Sea of Cortez, there is a Park Fee ($75-$90 USD per person/day) and a Fuel Surcharge ($25 USD per person/night). For Socorro Island, there is a Park Fee (approx. $235 USD per person/day), a Chamber Fee ($15 USD per person/trip), and a Fuel Surcharge ($25 USD per person/night). Prices are subject to change.

Transportation to La Paz from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is approximately 2.5 hours. For Socorro trips, transportation from San José Del Cabo airport (SJD) to Marina Puerto Los Cabos is provided if contracted in advance.
