Beneath the Waves Freediving, situada a Puerto del Carmen, Espanya, és un centre de submarinisme especialitzat en apnea i ofereix una àmplia gamma de cursos i experiències per a tots els nivells, des de principiants fins a instructors certificats per SSI. Amb uns instructors experimentats com Nico Decroix i Moya Lee, el centre es dedica a guiar els estudiants en el seu viatge dins del món de la apnea, ensenyant tècniques essencials com estiraments, respiració, relaxació, apnea estàtica, tècniques de natació amb aleta, immersions de cap i ecualització.
El centre també ofereix experiències d'exploració de esculls, que permeten als participants submergir-se en la bellesa dels esculls volcànics i la vida marina vibrant de Lanzarote. Aquestes excursions combinen snorkel pràctic amb la descoberta emocionant de paisatges submarins i una gran varietat de criatures marines. Per als aprenents més avançats, Beneath the Waves ofereix cursos d'apnea que van des del nivell AIDA 2, on s'ensenya la tècnica de caiguda lliure i l'ecualització de Frenzel, fins al nivell AIDA 3, que aprofundeix en tècniques més avançades per arribar a majors profunditats. Aquests cursos inclouen entrenament pràctic en apnea estàtica i dinàmica, immersió lliure i pes constant, complementats amb coneixements teòrics de fisiologia i seguretat.
Beneath the Waves Freediving disposa de comoditats com taquilles, un bar, lloguer d'equips, una botiga de subministraments de submarinisme i omplert d'aire (inclòs nitrox). També faciliten submarinisme en vaixell i trasllats des de l'aeroport. El centre opera tots els dies de la setmana, de 8 del matí a 7 del vespre, i dona la benvinguda als clients en francès, alemany, rus i ucraïnès, a més de l'espanyol.

For the Introduction to Freediving and AIDA courses, participants must be 18 years or older. Those aged 16 or 17 can participate with written consent from a parent or guardian.
For the Introduction to Freediving, you need to swim at least 100m non-stop. For the AIDA 2 and AIDA 3 courses, participants must be able to swim 200 meters without stopping.
All necessary spearfishing equipment is provided for the spearfishing courses and guided sessions. The focus is on personalized instruction and exploring local underwater environments.
The Introduction to Freediving experience lasts 3.5 hours and costs €115. It provides a taste of freediving fundamentals without certification.
To enroll in the AIDA 3 course, you must have completed the AIDA 2 course or an equivalent crossover evaluation from another agency. Specific performance requirements in static apnea, dynamic apnea, and constant weight bi-fins must also be met.
