Timanfaya Sub, ubicat a Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, és un centre de submarinisme PADI 5 STAR IDC acreditat per la Reserva de la Biosfera des de 1997. Amb aparcament exclusiu i una ubicació privilegiada, ofereix una àmplia gamma de cursos PADI i SSI, des de Descobriment de Busseig fins al Curs de Desenvolupament d'Instructors, incloent especialitats com Nitrox i Busseig Tècnic. També ofereixen excursions de busseig amb equip propi o de lloguer, amb més de 25 punts de busseig accessibles des de la seva embarcació.
Les instal·lacions de Timanfaya Sub inclouen armariets, una zona de bar, lloguer d'equips, una botiga de submarinisme amb material d'alta qualitat, incloent submarinisme tècnic i ordinadors SUUNTO, i servei de farciment d'ampolles amb Nitrox. El centre organitza immersions diàries des de vaixell amb parades per canviar ampolles, prendre cafè i snacks, garantint la comoditat dels bussejadors. PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver certification at Timanfaya Sub provides a comprehensive introduction to scuba diving, focusing on building confidence and competence. This course is structured around performance, allowing instructors to tailor the learning pace to each student's needs, ensuring a comfortable and effective progression. You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to explore the underwater world independently, with a certification valid for dives up to 18 meters. The theoretical component can be completed via PADI's e-learning system or through traditional classroom sessions at the center, covering essential diving principles and safety procedures. Practical training includes five confined water sessions and four open water dives conducted at a local beach, offering a hands-on approach to mastering essential scuba skills. These skills range from mask clearing and regulator recovery to buoyancy control and emergency ascents, all practiced within the vibrant aquatic environment. The emphasis is on developing proficiency in a controlled setting before venturing into open water. The entire program typically spans 3-4 days, depending on individual student progress and learning speed. Timanfaya Sub offers flexible package options to suit different preferences and budgets. The 'Clase Turista' package is priced at €465, while the 'Clase Preferente' at €558 includes two post-course dives and a shop discount, enhancing your initial diving experience. For those seeking more, the 'Clase Oro' package at €738 incorporates two specialty courses: DIVE AGAINST DEBRIS® and Peak Performance Buoyancy, along with a shop discount, offering a more advanced training path. All packages include PADI e-learning access, full dive equipment rental, comprehensive insurance, and certification processing. With an average sea temperature around 20.5°C, diving conditions are generally favorable throughout the year, though specific monthly air temperatures vary from 18.3°C in December to 23.5°C in August. This makes the waters around Lanzarote an inviting environment for learning to dive. Upon successful completion of the PADI Open Water Diver course, you will be a certified diver, qualified to explore the underwater world with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is designed for beginners who have never dived before. It allows you to experience scuba diving in a safe, guided environment with a certified instructor, learning basic skills and exploring the underwater world.
Participants must be 10 years or older and able to swim. A medical and safety form must be completed via the PADI App prior to the experience. Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
The packages include e-learning access, PADI certification processing, civil liability insurance, and full dive equipment rental. The 'Clase Preferente' and 'Clase Oro' packages also include post-course guided dives and a shop discount.
