The 'Baptême' Discover Scuba Diving experience at Diving Calvi offers a perfect introduction to the underwater world for individuals aged 8 and above. This program is conducted one-on-one with a certified instructor, ensuring personalized attention and safety. You will explore the clear waters and marine life of Calvi, with the session beginning with a comprehensive briefing on equipment and essential communication signals. Following the theory, a boat trip will take you directly from the beach to a shallow dive site, specifically chosen for its suitability for beginners.

The actual dive lasts approximately 20 minutes, allowing participants to experience the sensation of weightlessness and observe the underwater environment. The maximum depth for this introductory dive is carefully maintained between 2 and 6 meters, providing a comfortable and secure setting for novices. After surfacing, a hot shower and a snack are provided, during which your instructor will debrief the experience, highlighting any marine life encountered. For those interested, surface snorkeling is also an available option. A souvenir diploma is awarded upon completion, marking this significant first step into scuba diving.
