Esp. Nitrox i Identificació Peixos (sense immersió)

Two SSI specialties combined at 145€: nitrox and fish identification. A version without the in-water component (theory and certification only) is available at 100€.

Nitrox certification is practical at Merak: the centre offers nitrox fills on site. Having the card means you can request enriched air on any of the guided dives, which is useful on the multiple-dive days given the range of 15–22 m sites in both the Mahón and Fornells programmes. Fish ID is well-suited to Menorca's waters — the site descriptions reference moray eels, grouper, barracuda schools, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, stingrays, octopus, corvina and abalone, among others.

The no-dive version of the combined course (100€) covers the theory and certification side only, which works if you're combining it with a trip where the diving is already planned.
