Discover Scuba Diving

Aquasports Center offers the Discover Scuba Diving experience, an ideal introduction for those curious about the underwater world without committing to a full certification. This program allows participants to experience breathing underwater in a safe, controlled environment, typically in shallow waters or a pool, under the direct supervision of a certified Dive Master. You will learn fundamental diving skills and essential safety procedures, preparing you for your first ocean dive. This introductory experience is available seven days a week, with sessions usually commencing at 8:00 am. The program includes approximately one hour of instruction followed by a transfer to Isla Chivos for the actual dive. Participants must be at least 12 years old and demonstrate basic swimming ability. Certain medical conditions, such as heart or respiratory issues, recent surgeries, or asthma, may prevent participation to ensure diver safety. Aquasports Center provides all necessary diving equipment, including a full gear set, and refreshing beverages. Participants are advised to bring a towel, biodegradable sunscreen, and sunglasses. The price is consistent for all participants, and your wetsuit size (XS to XXL) will be requested during booking.
