Advanced Open Water Course

Aqua TCI offers the PADI Advanced Open Water Course, a crucial step for certified divers looking to expand their underwater horizons. This program involves five dives, including the mandatory Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation Dive, pushing your limits to depths of 30 meters (100 feet) and refining your directional skills. You'll select three additional adventure dives from a diverse list, allowing for personalized exploration. The course is structured for practical application, eliminating formal exams and pool sessions to maximize your time in the water. It can be completed over two or three days, accommodating various travel schedules.

Self-study for the theoretical components is flexible, with options for PADI or SSI eLearning completed at home or a manual studied poolside. While not mandatory, the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive is highly recommended to significantly improve your air consumption and control, making every dive more efficient and enjoyable. The Underwater Imaging Dive provides a fantastic opportunity to learn basic underwater photography techniques and capture memories of the vibrant marine life. Other popular choices include AWARE Fish Identification, Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diving, Drift Diving, and Nitrox Diving, with the AWARE Shark Conservation Dive also available for those interested in marine megafauna.

Aqua TCI provides comprehensive instruction, all necessary course materials, equipment rental, boat dives, and all processing fees. A single tank of Nitrox is included if your chosen specialty dive requires it. Please note that PADI or SSI eLearning fees, slates, and cameras are not included in the course price. For those seeking to combine advanced training with specific skills, packages such as Advanced Open Water with Nitrox Specialty or Digital Underwater Imaging Specialty are available at a slightly increased cost. A single student supplement applies if you are the only participant.

Participants must hold a recognized Open Water Diver certification or equivalent. This course is designed to enhance your diving experience in the exceptional waters of Turks and Caicos, enabling you to explore more sites and dive with increased confidence and capability. The beautiful conditions in Turks and Caicos, with generally good visibility and warm water temperatures year-round, provide an ideal environment for mastering these advanced skills.
