Advanced Open Water

The SSI Advanced Adventurer program provides a structured introduction to five different diving specialties. This course allows certified divers to expand their skills under direct supervision without committing to a full specialty program. Practical training takes place in the coastal waters of La Azohía, focusing on advanced navigation and buoyancy.

Divers can choose five individual specialty previews, which typically include deep diving, night diving, navigation, and ecology. Each of these trial sessions counts as credit toward the corresponding full SSI specialty rating. Training sessions are planned around the Cabo Tiñoso marine area, exposing students to varied depths and rock formations.
