DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURES 55m

Decompression Procedures builds directly on Technical Foundations, extending the depth ceiling to 55 m with up to 45 minutes of staged decompression. The main addition is working with EAN50 or EAN80 as decompression gases — high-oxygen mixes that accelerate off-gassing during the stops.

The course covers advanced gas management and team diving protocols in more depth than previous levels. At 55 m with multi-gas decompression, the planning workload increases significantly and the course treats that accordingly.

Team coordination is a formal component here — how each member of the dive team manages their role to reduce collective risk. This matters in practice when you're running decompression stops at depth with different gases in the water.

Entry requires 75 logged dives (or Technical Foundations certification plus 10 extended range dives), Advanced Open Water, Diver Stress & Rescue, Nitrox, Oxygen Provider, and Technical Foundations or equivalent. Price is on request.
