TDI Instructor

The TDI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is meticulously crafted for experienced active dive instructors and technical divers aiming to elevate their careers by teaching advanced diving techniques. This program, administered by TDI instructor trainers, equips candidates with the essential knowledge and skills to uphold TDI's stringent standards in technical diving education. Graduates will be qualified to conduct diver-level courses, contributing to the global growth of high-quality technical diving instruction.

To be eligible, candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold certifications in the specific TDI courses they intend to teach. A minimum of 100 logged dives across diverse environments and depths is mandatory, alongside proof of dives or underwater hours relevant to the courses they will instruct. Current CPR and first aid certification are required, as is a certification as an SDI Instructor or an equivalent rating from another recognized agency.
