SASY Program

The SASY Program at Central Coast Dive is designed for children aged 5 to 8 who are eager to experience the world of diving. This introductory program allows young participants to get comfortable with scuba equipment, including a BCD and regulator, in a controlled pool environment. They will practice breathing from a regulator at the surface, providing a safe and fun first encounter with underwater breathing apparatus. The session lasts approximately two hours, focusing on familiarization with the gear and the sensation of breathing underwater without any actual submersion.

This program is offered by Central Coast Dive, a center certified by both IDEA and PADI, ensuring a high standard of training. The course is conducted in English, catering to a diverse range of young adventurers. While this specific program does not involve open water dives, it serves as an excellent precursor for future diving adventures, building confidence and excitement for the underwater realm. The focus is on a playful and engaging introduction to the equipment and basic concepts of scuba diving in a safe, supervised setting.
