DPV Diving

The SSI DPV Specialty program at this center is designed to significantly extend your underwater exploration capabilities. This course focuses on the safe and efficient use of Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPVs), allowing you to cover larger distances and spend more time enjoying the marine environment. You will learn essential skills such as DPV handling, navigation techniques with a DPV, and emergency procedures. The practical sessions are conducted at local dive sites known for their interesting topography and marine life, providing a real-world application of your new skills. This specialty is certified by SSI, a globally recognized agency.

This region offers excellent diving conditions throughout much of the year, with sea temperatures averaging around 25.7°C, making it comfortable for diving. While specific monthly air temperatures vary, the water remains inviting for extended periods. The dive sites chosen for the DPV course are selected to showcase the benefits of using a DPV, whether it's exploring deeper reefs or covering a wider area of a wreck. The visibility is generally good, allowing for effective navigation and observation of the underwater world. The center's location provides access to diverse underwater landscapes suitable for DPV training.
