Advanced Open Water

Aquanaut Dive Center in El Nido offers the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, designed to elevate your diving skills beyond the basic certification. This program involves five Adventure Dives, with mandatory components including Deep Diving, Underwater Navigation, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. You have the flexibility to select two additional dives from a variety of options such as Boat Diving, Underwater Naturalist, Fish Identification, Drift Diving, Search and Recovery, or Night Diving. Choosing the Night Dive incurs an additional fee but includes an extra dive, bringing the total to seven dives for the course.

Each completed Adventure Dive also counts towards a PADI Specialty course, providing a pathway for further education and specialization. Upon successful completion of the five Adventure Dives, participants are treated to a complimentary fun dive on the same day, making for a total of six dives. This course is structured to be completed over two days, with departures from the dive center located in El Nido bay. The schedule typically includes multiple dives, onboard snacks, lunch, and dedicated time for logging your dives at the Safety Stop Bar.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification unlocks the ability to dive deeper, up to 30 meters (100 feet), and enhances your confidence in various diving conditions. This advanced training is crucial for those looking to explore more challenging dive sites and gain a broader understanding of underwater environments. The course emphasizes practical application, allowing you to immediately use your new skills in real diving scenarios.
