Advanced Open Water

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Divers Cove in South Florida is your next step in scuba certification, building directly on your Open Water skills. This program is structured to introduce you to deeper dives and new underwater environments, enhancing your confidence and capabilities. You will complete five PADI Adventure Dives, with Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation being mandatory. The remaining three dives can be tailored to your interests, such as wreck, night, or drift diving, all conducted at renowned South Florida dive sites.

This course includes the PADI eLearning component, which covers the theoretical aspects of advanced diving before you hit the water. This allows for more practical, in-water time during your training sessions, maximizing your hands-on experience. You'll learn about planning and executing deeper dives, up to 100 feet (30 meters), and refining your navigation skills. The focus is on practical application in real ocean conditions, including boat dives with proper etiquette and entry/exit techniques.

Divers Cove, a 5-Star IDC Training Center, offers this advanced certification using PADI standards. The center provides training in English and German, ensuring accessibility for a diverse range of divers.
