Cursusbeschrijving
The Open Water Diver course at Tauchpartner Gera is your entry point to the global diving community, offering an internationally recognized certification. Upon completion, you'll be qualified to rent scuba equipment and explore underwater environments worldwide with a dive buddy. This comprehensive program is designed to build your confidence and safety skills through a balanced curriculum.
Training at Tauchpartner Gera typically begins every four weeks, providing consistent opportunities to start your diving journey. The course structure includes essential classroom theory sessions, hands-on skill development in a controlled pool environment, and a minimum of four open water dives. This progression ensures a solid foundation in both knowledge and practical application.
The course fee at Tauchpartner Gera covers all necessary components for your certification. This includes theoretical instruction, pool training, the required four open water dives, all learning materials, pool access fees, and the use of quality rental diving equipment. Students are only required to provide their personal ABC gear: mask, booties, fins, and snorkel, though the center can offer guidance on suitable options.
For enhanced flexibility, Tauchpartner Gera offers SSI Online Training, allowing you to complete the theoretical portion at your own pace from home. You can then schedule your practical pool and open water sessions directly with the dive center, combining digital learning with in-person instruction. An even more personalized approach is the individual course format, which is entirely tailored to your schedule with dedicated one-on-one instructor attention, ensuring a focused and efficient learning experience.
The practical open water dives, a critical phase of the certification, are often conducted at sites like Kulkwitzsee near Leipzig. These dives are crucial for applying learned skills in real underwater conditions, offering a chance to experience varied environments and observe local aquatic life. Alternatively, these dives can be integrated into one of the center's organized dive holidays, providing a broader context for your new skills.
