Cursusbeschrijving
The SDI DPV course teaches planning, organisation, technique, and hazard management for underwater scooter use. Overhead environment diving is explicitly excluded from this course — this is open-water DPV use only.
The course includes theory on the specific DPV used, an exam, and two open water dives. tauchmalab notes that DPVs have particular relevance for divers with physical disabilities, which aligns with Phil's qualification in adaptive diving instruction.
Minimum age is 18 (15 with written parental consent). Entry requires a certified Junior OWD or equivalent. Pricing is on application.
