Try Scuba – Schnuppertauchen

The Try Scuba session at tauchmalab is where most people in the Hannover area first put a regulator in their mouth. It runs in their in-house pool, with a theory introduction followed by your first practical session underwater — supervised throughout by an experienced instructor.

No prior experience is required, and all rental equipment is provided. You bring swimwear and the school handles the rest. The session costs from €50 per person, which includes rental gear and dive insurance.

The minimum age is 10 years with parental consent. If you're unsure whether diving is for you before committing to a full OWD course, this is the logical first step. It won't certify you, but it gives you a clear answer about whether you want to go further.

Private or group sessions on special dates can be arranged on request, and gift vouchers are also available for the session.
