Cursusbeschrijving
This entry-level certification course is designed to train students in the essential skills needed to become autonomous divers, leading to a PADI license valid down to 18 meters worldwide. The course spans a minimum of two days and is split into online theory study, confined water pool practice, and four training dives in the sea. Students complete their academic training at home using the PADI eLearning platform, which covers dive safety, physics, and equipment. The first practical sessions are held in a pool to master regulator recovery, mask clearing, and buoyancy control, with transport provided from the Arenal center.
The course continues with four open water dives in Javea, where students apply their skills in a natural environment. Dives one and two reach depths between 6 and 12 meters, while dives three and four go down to 18 meters to refine buoyancy, finning techniques, and buddy safety checks. Certified graduates receive their digital PADI eCard and a special benefit of one year of free diving equipment rental to encourage further practice. For students based in Madrid, the center offers a hybrid option where pool and deep well training are completed in Madrid, followed by the final ocean dives in Javea.
